This week was full of awesome things! Coming off a 2:29:35 marathon in Houston, my good friend and teammate from college, Stephanie Rothstein, came up to Santa Barbara to visit. She has always been a huge inspiration to me in my career and I always love getting to spend time with her.

To make the week even better, Fresno Pacific was competing at Westmont, which meant that my Fiji family was coming to town. It was fun getting to hang out with them at the track for a little bit.

To end the week on a high note, I ran my 1st race in a really long time and it went way better than expected! I did a 4 mile road race in town and averaged 5:42 pace per mile. I was 1st female overall. It felt good to get out and race again. Hopefully it’s a sign of good things to come!
